Summary

Good storyThe story was good。 The PTSD reaction and near comatose state near the end was an interesting twist but there was a good ending。 Expected a marriage but it doesn't end that way。 Good storyThe story was good。 The PTSD reaction and near comatose state near the end was an interesting twist but there was a good ending。 Expected a marriage but it doesn't end that way。 。。。more

The writing is superb, the story is dark but intriguing, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough。

This was the endgame series。 Skye Warren is my second favorite author, and she is very good。 On to the next The King。

Wow! What an experience this trilogy was, I’ll keep this short and sweet for everyone。 If you’ve not read from Skye much and want to give more of her books a try。 Defiantly pick the endgame series。 I loved this trilogy so much, Avery and Gabriel captivated me。 That relationship they had being that taboo; light and dark romance I live for。 It’s not just a romance either, if you love a bit of mystery that’s in here too。 The plot twist this book had。 Shook me。 Overall I loved this book and I give i Wow! I found myself getting a little bored with this one。 There’s drama, but a lot of what happens just doesn’t seem like it was necessary。 It seems like there’s a lot of talking with not much happening, overall, in this one。 Also, I don’t love the very traditional ending。 Apparently, if you have two characters who are a hot damn mess, people always want to give them this classically happy ending。 But it never seems to suit the couple, so I was zoned out by the end and stopped caring。

Very goodI thought I had read this once, but I enjoyed it again。 The characters interact together and introduces more for the next books。

Great readA great ending to Gabriel and Avery’s story。 A few twists but overall a good read。 They had to be broken in order to heal together。

It was okay。。This trilogy was all right。 The first book was good and well written, but the second and this one were just okay。 I thought this book was drawn out and the parts that should have been exiting and thrilling were just。。 meh? I wasn’t impressed。 I still like Skye Warren’s way of writing, so I’m not turned off trying other books by her。 But this one was kind of a miss for me。 2,5 stars。

The story was good and I'm happy to get the conclusion。 The reason I didn't love it was Avery。。。 in this book her emotions were all over the place, I got lost trying to figure out if she's angry with Gabriel or does she want to be there。。etc。。 I also felt there were things that wasn't answered。 I did enjoy the trilogy and am definitely starting The King。 The story was good and I'm happy to get the conclusion。 The reason I didn't love it was Avery。。。 in this book her emotions were all over the place, I got lost trying to figure out if she's angry with Gabriel or does she want to be there。。etc。。 I also felt there were things that wasn't answered。 I did enjoy the trilogy and am definitely starting The King。 。。。more

CringeRolling my eyes。。。Ok。 I'm only 60 pages in to the 3rd book of this trilogy and I'm having trouble getting through。 The other 2 books were good, I read them quickly but the dialogue between Gabriel and Avery is so cringe that I can't stop rolling my eyes。 Every exchange between the two is soo sexy, every line dripping with sex。 I mean, come on, nothing this dude says is funny, ever。 That's gonna get old real fast。 Ugh, I'm hoping the action picks up quickly because if I have to read another CringeRolling my eyes。。。Ok。 I'm only 60 pages in to the 3rd book of this trilogy and I'm having trouble getting through。 The other 2 books were good, I read them quickly but the dialogue between Gabriel and Avery is so cringe that I can't stop rolling my eyes。 Every exchange between the two is soo sexy, every line dripping with sex。 I mean, come on, nothing this dude says is funny, ever。 That's gonna get old real fast。 Ugh, I'm hoping the action picks up quickly because if I have to read another line about how Gabriel was eyeballing her for 2 years and how she's into that? Very goodThis is a great ending to a very good series。 I would recommend this。 Must be read in order! My only complains are 1。 We never address the fact he said the name Hannah while drugged。 She could have at least talked to him about it。 That felt like it was left too open。 2。 The epilogue is a happy ending, but more a happy for now。 I would have loved to see some permanency between them。 A proposal, marriage, maybe a baby。 None of those things were even mentioned。 If I invest my time into a 3 Very goodThis is a great ending to a very good series。 I would recommend this。 Must be read in order! Unexpected twists that keep you awakeThe twists in the plot thickens through the book。 It was quite confusing until almost in the last quarter of the book。 The ending was unexpected but gave food for thought。 I didnt enjoy it as much as the first two books but it was a satisfying HEA。

4。5 STARSbro I loved this。 The sensuality, the tension, the twists - even the plot。 I loved everything about this。 This is what a dark romance should be like。 Avery and Gabriel are so hot, if they made this into a movie it would over take 50 shades of Grey 10x fold。 Not even gonna lie, I’m sad this was short。 I wish there was more detail and I wish we got to see more of these two in the future。 This was some good steamy read。 Exactly what I needed。 Skye Warren I’m coming for the rest of your nov 4。5 STARSbro I loved this。 The sensuality, the tension, the twists - even the plot。 I loved everything about this。 This is what a dark romance should be like。 Avery and Gabriel are so hot, if they made this into a movie it would over take 50 shades of Grey 10x fold。 Not even gonna lie, I’m sad this was short。 I wish there was more detail and I wish we got to see more of these two in the future。 This was some good steamy read。 Exactly what I needed。 Skye Warren I’m coming for the rest of your novels。 。。。more

Interesting idea/ concept, but somehow this conclusion didn't satisfied me。 I didn't write any reviews for the previous two instalments just because I was waiting for something big, the firs two books felt like some prologue to me。The series feel addicting, but I was rolling my eyes too much。 The thing that was pissing me off was romanticization of a man who abuses people。 The author was trying so hard to make the relationship between Avery and Gabriel not so problematic with Avery secretly long Interesting idea/ concept, but somehow this conclusion didn't satisfied me。 I didn't write any reviews for the previous two instalments just because I was waiting for something big, the firs two books felt like some prologue to me。The series feel addicting, but I was rolling my eyes too much。 The thing that was pissing me off was romanticization of a man who abuses people。 The author was trying so hard to make the relationship between Avery and Gabriel not so problematic with Avery secretly longing for a dominant man who can protect her and be over territorial as hell and basicaly dictate her life like she was some kind of puppet, but also make Avery strong and independet in this weird knot。 Overall I felt overwhelmed with the author trying。 Almost everytime Avery and Gabriel had sex, it just felt like rape to me, no matter how hard author tried to picture it like Avery actually like it。 She was forced to sold her body, she was forced by Gabriel to do things, and even if she somehow like it (was glad that Gabriel didn't hurt her) it was still an abuse in my opinion。And also Damon, I like him as a characeter。。。 Both him and Gabriel are criminals。 Damon even runs some stripp clubs and is taking girls as debt settlements。。。 Come on, how can I belive that he is actually a good man。 Both him and Gabriel auctiond Avery。 Gabriel is nonstop threathing Avery about all sorts of things。 Their behavior is not romantic in any way (which is fine, there are plenty of people out there like them, cruel, manipulative, moraly grey, bad), BUT don't romanticize the behavior of this people! Don't make their actions sounds like some romantic things The thing with Avery's mother was interesting but after the revelation abou Mr。Scott senior as the whole problem felt too random? I don't know。 The BIG awful criminal man who basicaly runs the city, but doesn't even have some bodyguards or what, I don't know。 For him, I felt like there was too much telling, not enough showing。 Even the foreshadowing about his connection to Avery was not enough for me。 That's why I am disppointed with the ending and with the whole trilogy。 。。。more

I think I needed to be really scared of Gabriel and never was。 Everything he did was out of kindness。 He is noble and loving。 It's his cold and snarky words we get instead。 Okay, we meet him after he gets what he truly wants - Avery。 We hear what he's done before - Avery。 And she's told repeatedly by all concerned to run。 We never see that reason in action。 The true meaning of virginity is spot on in the embodiment of Avery。 The writing, storytelling is Superb!!! Would I Recommend THIS trilogy? Absolutely!!! 。。。more
